New Independent Contractor Advisory

Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley has issued a new Advisory on the Massachusetts Independent Contractor/Misclassification Law. This new advisory, which supersedes all previous advisories on the topic, covers the history of the law, the three-prong test for determining status, actions constituting violation of the law, and enforcement guidelines.
