Law Day 2013

Established by Proclamation in 1958 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, Law Day is a national day to celebrate the rule of law and its contributions to the freedoms we Americans enjoy.
Each year Law Day events and programs are planned and carried out by bar associations, courts, and various educational entities. The American Bar Association  selects a theme each year for Law Day events.  This year's theme: 'Realizing the Dream:  Equality for All' marks the 150th anniversary of the issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation.
