Hingham P.D.'s working K-9, Axel, is on the mend from surgery on his rear knee, and he needs your help.
Axel is one of Hingham Police Department's toughest crime fighters and a valued member of the department. Highly skilled both in tracking and narcotics detection, he plays a vital role in keeping both the community and the officers safe.
Axel’s food and routine veterinary care are covered through private donations. However, his recent surgery, which cost $3,300. will more than deplete that account.
Hingham police are seeking donations to help pay for Axel’s operation.
