Political Lobbying in Mass.

Political lobbying in Massachusetts.

According to an article by the Associated Press, political lobbying is
a  $100 million-a -year industry that is thriving in Massachusetts.  The
AP reviewed lobbying records filed with the state secretary's office and
found the number of lobbyists has doubled since 2005 - in part due, in part,
to a  2009 ethics law,  which changed and broadened the  definition of a lobbyist.

Another article, published in 2009, lays out some of the highlights and changes
in this law.

You can find more information on this subject on the Law Libraries website
under the law about ethics.
