Free Access now to over 3,000 eBooks!

The Mass. Trial Court Law Libraries are among 51 libraries statewide chosen to participate in the Mass. eBook Pilot Project, which provides free access to thousands of ebooks, including law titles.

The two vendors for the project are Biblioboard and Baker and Taylor.  Biblioboard features primarily historical documents while Baker and Taylor features current fiction and nonfiction.  Examples of law-related ebooks available through Baker and Taylor include "The Complete Guide to Planning Your Estate in Mass." and "The American Bar Association Legal Guide for Military Families."

To set up an account to access these resources, you need to visit one of our libraries with your law library card, and staff will assist you.   If you don't already have a Trial Court Law Library card you can sign up for one during your visit.  After initial setup at a law library, you can access ebooks from anywhere, anytime on any device.

The Mass. eBook Project is brought to you by the Mass. Library System in partnership with the Mass. Board of Library Commissioners, funded in part by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
