Getting divorced in Massachusetts
Going through a divorce can be extremely stressful, and making sure all one's ducks are in a row can help to alleviate some of that stress. The Trial Court Law Libraries' webpage on divorce is an excellent place to start. There are times, however, when more than what is available online is needed. The MCLE publication, Trying divorce cases in Massachusetts 3rd ed., not only has a great overview of the steps involved, but includes a CD with forms and checklists. Another MCLE title, Temporary orders and discovery issues in family law cases, not only discusses the various issues, but is filled with sample motions and affidavits. These titles are only a fraction of many that can be borrowed; one only needs to get a library card.
