Hein Online Adds Exciting Fastcase Features

Library card holders using HeinOnline can now have an exponentially expanded research experience. The addition of Fastcase to the database provides two exciting features which significantly enrich legal research done in HeinOnline.

While reading any of the thousands of journal articles in the database, users can now simply click on the cases and journal articles cited.  The full text case or article cited instantly appears if it is a part of the HeinOnline library.

The second enhancement is citation searching in Fastcase to retrieve federal and state cases.  This is case retrieval only, not subject searching. The wealth of federal judicial and administrative cases available by citation search includes U. S. Supreme, Circuit, District and Bankruptcy Court cases. In addition, Tax, Customs and Board of Immigration Appeals decisions are included. Fifty state case law is also citation searchable.  You can link to cited cases while reading a case and immediately be linked.

Only Trial Court Law Library card holders can access HeinOnline remotely.  To get a card, visit one of our locations soon.
