Famed tort lawyer, Stan Chesley, disbarred in Kentucky and retired in Ohio

The ABA Journal and Forbes report that the Kentucky Supreme Court disbarred Stanley Chesley in March.  In its 38-page decision, the Court outlines eight counts of professional misconduct in Stanley Chesley's settlement of the case of Darla Guard, et al., v. A.H. Robins Company, et al., in which the plaintiffs claimed to be injured by the diet drug commonly known as "fen-phen."  The Wall Street Journal Law Blog also reports that Stan Chesley retired from practice in his home state of Ohio upon submitting this sworn affidavit.
